Step into a space where voices are honored and stories are held with care. Whats Your Why: An Open Mic Experience invites you into an evening of expression through poetry, music, storytelling, and reflection—created to help you feel safe, inspired, and open.
Centered around Gambling Awareness, this gathering encourages the deconstruction of misconceptions, self-reflection, and community healing. It is a space where lived experiences are valued and perspectives are expanded.
What is gambling?
Gambling is when someone risks something of value for a chance at a reward that can’t be guaranteed.
It can look like placing bets at a casino, buying lottery tickets, or playing fantasy sports for cash. But it also shows up in subtle ways—inside apps, video games, even arcade games that play with randomness and chance.
Anyone can get addicted to gambling. It’s important to recognize the potential signs of addiction.
