Blu is an artist and advocate whose work lives at the intersection of expression and impact. As Blu Berri Moore, their drag persona brings fierce beauty and vulnerability to the stage, channeling emotion through song, lip-sync, and visual storytelling. As Blu Figueroa, they’ve helped shape the creative backbone of the GARI Project — presenting at public health events, co-leading youth workshops, and writing reports, prompts, and digital storytelling pieces that challenge stigma and spark change.

Blu joined the GARI Project with a simple hope: to make a difference. What began as a chance to use their voice became a journey of uncovering new strengths, pushing creative limits, and finding unexpected ways to heal and connect through community-based art.
