
Meet Brenda D. Evans, MPH
Role: UMass Amherst Researcher
Brenda D Evans is a lifelong resident of Springfield, MA and double alum of UMass Amherst. She has 25 years of education and experience in the public health field, which includes training, health care workforce development and community engagement. She is dedicated to population health and health equity via advocacy and intersectional systematic change to achieve optimal health for all.
She is currently Community Research Liaison for the Center for Community Health Equity Research @ UMass Amherst SPHHS; connecting faculty researchers with community-based organizations and/ or entities, with aligned interests, to perform community based participatory research or community engaged research and founding director of the CHW Coalition of greater western MA and co-founder of the Hampden County Resource Network.
