Meet Jarix Santiago

Role: New North Citizens’ Council Partner

Bio:

Jarix Santiago was born, raised, and currently resides in Springfield, MA. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in psychology and sociology from the College of Our Lady of the Elms.

Jarix is a community leader and youth advocate. She is the Chief of Programs for the Department of Youth Services at New North Citizens Council, where she is responsible for overseeing youth programs and initiatives. Throughout her tenure at NNCC, she has held various roles, including youth worker, coordinator of in-school programs, and supervisor of the streetworker team.

She carries a burning passion for seeing transformation in the lives of young people in Western Massachusetts. Jarix believes in the power of mentorship and advocates for resources that equip youth with the skills they need to succeed. Her dedication to fostering positive change drives her commitment to empower the next generation in her community.
