Meet Mone’t

Mone’t Murphy (she/her/ella) is a young adult from Springfield, MA. She grew up participating in various basketball programs in the city, continuing her passion through high school. After earning her Bachelor's Degree from Westfield State University, she remains in Springfield, aiming to make a positive impact on people. At GARI, Mone’t serves as an advisor focusing on sports gambling and its effects on young adults. With her knowledge of sports statistics and the betting world, she educates the group and her peers about the potential risks of sports gambling. Her dedication to helping others aligns perfectly with GARI's mission and values, making her a valuable member of the team. Through her involvement with GARI, Mone’t has been inspired to further her education and career in sports management. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with friends and family, watching sports (especially the WNBA and the Green Bay Packers), reading, and pursuing personal growth.
