The Department of Public Health, Massachusetts Substance Abuse Helpline
For individuals with multiple addictions, the Massachusetts Substance Abuse Helpline is a statewide, public resource for finding substance abuse harm reduction, treatment, recovery, and problem gambling services. Helpline services are free, confidential. Available in multiple languages and are available 24/7.
For assistance with paying for counseling services the Department of Public Health, Bureau of Substance Abuse Services contracts with Outpatient Treatment Centers to individuals seeking professional counseling for problem disorders. Counseling is avaible to anyone concerned about gambling: those who gamble, their families and/or significant others. Treatment is avaliable regardless of insurance coverage.
